The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Who we share your data with

As you browse our online store some of your information will be shared with our ecommerce partners like WooCommerce, WooCommerce Payments, Stripe, USPS, FedEx, UPS, Pirate Ship.

When you purchase a product, some of your information is sent to our third party vendors that enable us to operate this ecommerce business.

Your payment information may be sent to our payment gateways(s) necessary to fulfil your order(s). We currently use Stripe to process your order payments, however this may change at anytime without notice. In the case of refunds and exchanges your information may again be shared with the payment gateway(s) necessary to fulfil the requirements of your order(s) necessary to process your order’s refund or exchange.

Your address, name and order information may be sent to our preferred shipping couriers like USPS, FedEx, UPS who fulfil the shipment of your orders. We are not responsible if a shipping courier decides to furnish your shipment to another courier at anytime during the shipment process, regardless if the courier(s) are on our preferred couriers list or not. For example, we currently have no plans on using DHL, but if we drop the package off at UPS and they furnish the package to DHL we are not responsible for that action and we cannot be held liable for any information about you, your order or your address that may be seen, shared or stolen as a result of that action.

Additionally, if it’s applicable to your order, we may send some information about you like your address, name and order information to our vendors that enable us to print your shipping labels like USPS, FedEx, UPS, Pirate Ship.

Your order tracking number, name and address may be shared with TrackShip. This third party vendor uses your tracking number(s) to report back to us the status of your package(s) during transportation. This allows us to send you notifications via email and SMS regarding the status of your package(s) and allows our system to mark your order in our system as Delivered when the package has been Delivered by the shipping courier.

We may at anytime use Google Analytics or similar analytics services to better understand how you interact with and use our website so we can fix and optimize your experience. This usually involves some of your information being shared with Google Analytics or similar analytics services. We are not responsible for any third party services or vendors that Google Analytics or similar analytics services may share your data with.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

When you submit orders, order returns, order exchanges and order cancellations we retain your order data and all transactional data associated to the order(s).

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. California law (CalOPPA) requires 4Locked Offroad to let you know how we respond to web browser ‘Do Not Track (DNT) signals’. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not honor Do Not Track requests at this time.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

California law (CalOPPA) requires 4Locked Offroad to let you know how we will inform our users about any changes to our Privacy Policy. We’ll send an email out at the end of the day if our Privacy Policy has been changed so long as you meet any of the following criteria:

  • You’ve placed an order with us and provided your email.
  • You’ve created an account with us. Account creation requires an email address so we will email this address we have on file.
  • If we ever offer a newsletter signup system we’ll send an email to the one you provided when signing up for newsletters.
