Description

This 4Locked Offroad triple differential lockers or “triple locked” vinyl sticker is perfect for windows, bumpers, toolboxes, snowboards/skis, containers, gas tanks and anything else you can think of. Since this vinyl sticker has a topographic map background you can put this on almost anything regardless of its color (unlike some of our transparent background decals like our 8.1″ x 1.91″ 4Locked Offroad Transfer Decal). This is not a reverse cut sticker so for a vehicle window application you would typically apply it on the outside of your window.

Dimensions – 3 inches wide x 5 inches tall.

What’s the difference between a Decal and a Sticker?

Pinning down what a decal is can be tricky for some people, but it’s pretty simple. A decal is a type of decorative sticker that is generally made for outdoor use. These stickers come with three pieces; the backing paper, the decal, and the transfer paper. Decal stickers are applied by removing the transfer paper from the backing, which lifts the decal. The transfer paper is pressed hard onto the surface, then slowly removed, leaving only the decal. Decals generally use a permanent adhesive and a vinyl or polyester material, giving them outstanding durability – some outdoor decals could last 3-5 years! People use decal stickers to decorate vehicles, storefronts, and other outdoor spaces.

Defining a sticker is much easier than a decal; everyone knows what stickers are! Stickers are pieces of plastic with designs on the front and an adhesive on the back, held by a backing paper. When you peel the backing paper off, the adhesive is exposed, and you can place the sticker just about anywhere. Stickers can be seen adorning car bumpers, water bottles, phone cases, laptops, and more. Stickers adhere less than decals, so their life span can shorten with heavy outdoor use. However, stickers can last more than eight years if there’s little exposure to the elements!

What is a reverse cut decal or sticker?

When a decal or sticker is reverse cut it means the sticky adhesive will be on the front of the sticker or decal. This is helpful when you want to apply the sticker to the inside (or backside) of a window to keep it out of the weather, but still keep it visible and readable for those that are looking through the window.
